High School Scholarship Program
Each year TwinWest Foundation scholarships are granted to graduating high school students from TwinWest member school districts and private schools. Students are evaluated based on their academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, community service, work history, and financial need. Typical college scholarships range from $500 to $1,500. The Foundation’s Legacy Scholarship, ranging from $5,000 to $7,500, is awarded each year to one outstanding high school senior who exemplifies positive leadership attributes and is awell-rounded student role model. Scholarship awards are announced in April each year.
The Legacy Scholarship program was established in the mid 1990s through a $50,000 anonymous contribution from a TwinWest Chamber member.
