TwinWestScholarship

The TwinWest Foundation is off to a great start in 2010!  On April 20, 51 high school seniors representing Binilde-St. Margaret’s School, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Providence Academy, Robbindale-Armstrong, Robbinsdale-Cooper, St. Louis Park, and Wayzata High School were awarded a total of $45,000 in scholarships. Pictured to the right is Zach Sperry, 2010 Wayzata High School graduate, with his family on the day he was surprised with his “big check.” Zach was selected to receive the Foundation’s Legacy Scholarship, its highest award, in the amount of $5,000.

These 2010 figures bring the TwinWest Foundation’s total amount of giving since 1982 to nearly $850,000 – far and away the most substantial philanthropy among chamber-sponsored scholarship programs in Minnesota. The Foundation extends its sincerest thanks to everyone who has made this possible.
