| The city of New Hope, with nearly 21,000 residents, is a quiet, residential community situated 10 miles northwest of Minneapolis. The city provides its residents with a wide array of recreational opportunities, including: fully equipped playgrounds; baseball diamonds; softball fields; tennis/basketball courts; a nine-hole golf course; swimming pools; and an ice arena. The city is fully developed and supported by a strong industrial base. Its 450 commercial and industrial businesses are served by two rail lines and direct freeway access along U.S. Highway 169. The housing stock is well-kept and provides a variety of housing opportunities for people of all ages.
