Engage your future workforce through a variety of career-based learning experiences. Opportunity Connect TwinWest will allow businesses, students and educators to connect, communicate and collaborate in short-term and longer-term experiences. Get involved by linking your company logo, sharing your company story and posting opportunities that fit your schedule.
We know you, as employers are struggling to attract and retain talent, and that there are increasing pressures on your time.
We at TwinWest, are committed to developing and retaining a skilled K-12 talent pipeline for our region but we can’t do this without you! In response to our region’s urgent talent needs, we are launching Opportunity Connect, which will leverage a new technology platform to seamlessly connect and support business, education and students/families with career connected learning experiences.
Businesses will be able to:
• provide employees with skills-based opportunities that support professional development and talent retention
• attract and develop a talent pipeline
• leverage young people’s innovative, diverse ideas
Please join us for a brief demonstration of this platform and learn how you can engage with educators and students in-person and virtually! You will learn how to set up your company and employee profiles in less than 3 minutes. The company profile will allow educators and students to learn more about your company and industry, leading to possible future talent, enhanced brand recognition and brand positioning. This will enable you to attract young talent, while easily connecting you with educators and students, based on your interests, skills and availability, to support career connected experiences such as informational interviewing, site visits, guest instruction, job shadows and internships.
Date and Time: August 22, 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
Location: TwinWest, 10700 Old County Rd 15, Ste 170, Plymouth
