This year's keynote speaker is Ian Leonard, For 9 News.

Ian Leonard sums up his life in one simple sentence; I love my life, I love my wife, I love my daughters and I love my dog...I kinda like the cats. People love to talk about the weather and so does Emmy award winning FOX 9 Chief Meteorologist Ian Leonard. Ian has spent the past 26 years forecasting the weather from the harsh winters of the Canadian prairies to the raucous unending storms of Iowa and the four diverse seasons of Minnesota. Ian graduated from the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University and is a member of the American Meteorological Society, The National Weather Association and The Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society.
To know Ian is to know his passion for people and his work in the community. Ian works tirelessly for Special Olympics Minnesota and The Alzheimer’s Association of ND-MN having raised over 30 million dollars for the 2 organizations in the past 10 years. Ian has also had his share of personal storms…making it through a traumatic brain injury in 2013 and adding the line “cancer survivor” to his resume in 2016. Ian loves to show people how to move through the storms in our lives and live a life of passion with purpose. It all starts with one simple question; What have you done for someone else today?
