    Join us for a panel discussion on how COVID-19 has impacted Minnesota manufacturing businesses. Hear from the leaders who are managing a never-experienced-before economy, and coping with a myriad of critical issues.  What is their focus today, and what does the future hold for these businesses?  They share their best practices, what they’ve learned and where they’re headed so other industries can learn.  

    The webinar will also feature Congressman Phillips who will be awarded the U.S. Chamber's Spirit of Enterprise Award for pro-business votes.  He will also provide a brief update from the federal level as well.

    Lee Anderson
    Director of Global Issues Management & Public Affairs 
    General Mills
    At General Mills, Lee leads company response to emerging reputational and regulatory issues, executes engagement with stakeholders, and advocates the company’s interests during the formation of public policy.  He leads all U.S. state government relations for the company and supports employees through civic engagement opportunities.  He is a member of the company’s COVID-19 Task Force, a group of cross-functional leaders directing their response to the global pandemic.
     
    Lee is a company leader in food security and food rescue policy.  He is a founding member of the National Conference of State Legislature’s Hunger Partnership, which works to connect state legislative leaders, staff and the private sector from across the country to share best practices and public policy innovations to address hunger at the state level.  Lee also serves as the company representative on the Food Waste Reduction Alliance, a cross-industry initiative that connects food manufacturers, retails and the restaurant and food service sector to share best practices and drive more food rescue to those in need.

    As the CEO of Diversified Plastics, Kevin Hogan is responsible for developing the strategic plan and execution to lead the company into its next 40 years. During Hogan’s three and a half decades of experience, he developed an outstanding track record of driving revenue growth, returning businesses to profitability, establishing strategic partnerships, and integrating acquired companies. Prior to Diversified Plastics, Hogan held the position of growth catalyst with Vuelta Management, an interim management and consulting services company in Saint Paul, Minn. He also served as president at Stylmark, a leading manufacturer of architectural products and an ESOP company, in Fridley, Minn. Additionally, he has held executive positions during his career with Jostens, Pillsbury, and Select Comfort. 



    Greg Theis
    Vice President of Liberty Packaging
    Liberty Diversified International

    Greg Theis is Vice President of Liberty Packaging North at Liberty Diversified International. As the Packaging North leader, Greg has overall P&L responsibility for the company’s corrugated manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Illinois and Nebraska. Throughout his career, Greg has held executive positions in Sales and Operations with responsibility for overall P&L.

    With more than 20 years of experience in the display and packaging industry, Greg joined LDI from Menasha Packaging Company in Neenah, Wisconsin where he was the company’s Vice President of Sales & Operations. In this position, Greg was responsible for multiple manufacturing sites including corrugated packaging and print manufacturing facilities across the U.S.

    Steve Kalina is President and CEO of the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association (MPMA), a trade association that represents hundreds of precision manufacturers around the state, primarily focusing on workforce development support and legislative changes.  Prior to his role with MPMA, Steve was President and Director of Sales of Dynamic Group, a contract manufacturer and long-time member of MPMA. Steve is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
