• Government Affairs Committee

  • TwinWest supports legislation that will create an improved business climate for our members, our region, and the entire state of Minnesota. Each year, the TwinWest Government Affairs Committee, develops policies to drive the Chamber’s efforts during the legislative session. These policies are published in our annual Business Agenda, available online and in print. The Business Agenda is intended to give business leaders a tool to better understand our positions and to get involved in bringing our message to the Capitol.

    The Government Affairs Committee meets the third Wednesday of every month at the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  In addition to setting the annual Business Agenda, members meet to discuss timely legislative topics and hear from policy experts on subjects that impact the business community.  Whether you are a subject matter expert or a public policy novice, everyone in the TwinWest membership is invited to attend the Government Affairs Committee meetings.  No registration is required.
