    The TwinWest Ambassadors are the welcome arm of the chamber. The Ambassadors attend ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, and any other events of a celebratory nature!  This member committee ensures that these events (co-hosted and promoted by the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce) are successful and well attended. Other duties include welcoming new members and helping businesses connect.

    Business Councils offer members an opportunity to meet and discuss issues and events specific to a community.  Some business councils meet regularly, others on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Golf Classic Committee

    TwinWest’s annual Golf Classic is a signature, networking event and fundraiser held in August. Proceeds support Chamber programming and initiatives. Golfers can attend alone and be placed in a foursome to meet new business contacts, or arrange their own group of coworkers, clients or friends for an afternoon of fun on the greens. The event concludes with a dinner reception and awards. Members and non-members are welcome to attend! Attending our Golf Classic is a good way to support the next generation of business and community leaders. Proceeds from the event's raffle will go to the TwinWest Foundation, which provides scholarships to local high school students, adult learners and funds early childhood education.

    Leadership Council provides an excellent opportunity to exchange strategies, build relationships, and increase your business knowledge. Leadership Council plans the Leadership Luncheon Series, Leadership Council lawn bowling event and Evening with the Minnesota Twins.

  • Power Partners

    Power Partners is a networking program that helps members exchange business leads, provides business advice and builds relationships. This is a group of about 15-20 non-competing TwinWest members who meet to develop professional networking relationships and exchange business referrals.

    Program Details:

    • Groups meet monthly at TwinWest - Participants responsible for own meals if needed - Group leaders are elected by the group - $75/year nonrefundable registration fee - Members are expected to attend at least 90% of the scheduled meetings. 

    • A qualified referral is the process of one Power Partners member informing another Power Partners member that he/she has been referred to a prospective client, and a follow up call or visit is expected by that prospective client. 

    • Participants must be TwinWest members in good standing. This group is self-directed and as such makes its own decisions on group participants.

    Meeting Times: 1st Monday of each month 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

    Result Drivers is a networking program that helps members exchange business leads, provides business advice and builds relationships. Groups of non-competing TwinWest members meet to develop professional networking relationships and exchange business referrals.

    Program Details:

    • “Guest Days” are held on the 1st Thursday of every month from 8am-9am at TwinWest. Guests are welcome to visit this group up to 3 times to see if it would be a good fit. Come prepared to share a 60 second commercial about your business, hand out business cards and meet other highly engaged professionals

    • Registration is $120/year and is nonrefundable.

    • A qualified business referral is the process of one Result Drivers member informing another Result Drivers member that he/she has been referred to a prospective client, and a follow up call or visit is expected by that prospective client.

    • Participants must be TwinWest members in good standing. Group leaders are elected by the group and group is self-directed, making its own decisions on group participants.

    • Result Drivers meet weekly at TwinWest. Members are expected to attend at least 30 of the 36 scheduled meetings.

    Meeting Times: 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
    Guest Days: 1st Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

    The Scholarship Committee assists the Foundation Board with choosing scholarship winners each year. Duties include: reviewing scholarship applications, conducting group interviews with applicants, and providing input through a scoring system.
